It all started with blogging.
I’ve been blogging since 2010, which puts me just over the decade mark. Currently, I run four blogs full-time, travelingmitch, Ultimate Ontario and We Explore Canada. Just to be extra meta, we also have a blog about blogging, which is attached to the “This Week in Blogging” brand. I’ll walk you through what each blog entails below.
“travelingmitch” was the blog that started it all for me. It’s where I documented my adventures living in Norway, Korea, and then Turkey. Over the years, it has amassed millions of views, which is something I’m quite proud of. It started off as strictly travel, but over the years I’ve also touched upon some of my own thoughts, philosophies, and life hacks. When Bri and I started living abroad and travelling together, she started writing for the website, too.
I’ve visited 80 countries thus far, so I use this site and brand to try to empower readers to do a little adventuring of their own.

I cofounded “Ultimate Ontario” in 2018. I run it alongside my partner, Bri Mitchell, my good friend and fellow travel writer and Ontarian, Kevin Wagar, and his partner Christina Wagar.
The site is as it sounds - the ultimate resource for things to do in Ontario. We want to help explore this province and recognize just how special it is.
